I received an error on my Connected TV app that says my account is not authorized to watch MSNBC

Please note, you must have a TV Subscription package that includes MSNBC in your channel lineup. 

 

If you still have trouble, try logging out and logging in again.

1. Open the app and go to Settings > TV Provider
2. Click the button to “Sign Out”
3. After signing out, quit the app and relaunch, and try signing in again.
4. Open the app and go to Settings > TV Provider screen to see your “activation code.” 
5. Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device and go to https://nbcnews.com/activate 
6. Enter your activation code, and select your TV Provider to login
7. After successful login with your TV Provider, you will be redirected back to the activation website to see a successful confirmation message.
8. Your TV device will activate automatically within a few seconds of successful login
